Short-term courses that lead to high-paying jobs

You may think that taking a short course will result in you getting a high-paying job right away. However, no single course is going to guarantee a high salary by itself.

What works, is taking a short-term course and learning skills that are in demand and already being paid for by employers.

The various courses that are being offered such as UI/UX design, graphic design, digital marketing, video editing, motion graphics, etc., aren't normal "courses", they are skills to learn and get better at, which is how you will make money with them.

Once you've completed the basics of any of these courses, what really makes a difference is what comes after the course is complete. You will have to do some serious practicing on your own to become truly skilled and develop the required skills to become an expert in the skill being taught. You need to consistently practice, work on projects, etc...

Another way that structured learning can help you is that there are programs that help you get ready to work (job-ready) when you complete their course(s) versus just helping you through the course. For example, Motifo Academy's focus is on being job-ready rather than completing their course(s).

Yeah, a short-term course could potentially lead to a high-paying job., but not if you look at the course as a shortcut instead of starting point.
